Dear Rally Participant,

First, thank you for donating your time and expertise to help make this second annual Family Fall Festival and Safety Rally a success.

Enclosed please find a preliminary map of the rally grounds.  Your area is designated by a number, and there will be a sign with your name on it in your space on the day of the rally.  If you have any concerns, please let us know immediately and we will try to accommodate you.  You are participant number ____________.

Although the rally does not start until 10:00 a.m., your space will be available for set up at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30th.  Please bring any equipment, such as tables, chairs and tents, because our resources are quite limited.  Also, please tell us if you need any electricity.  Again, we have limited electrical access and need to know early.

Vendor/participant parking will be in the Withlacoochee Trail parking lot, which is across the street from the community center and to the left of the post office.  Please do not park in the post office spaces.

Each child visiting your space will be holding a ticket with their name and other pertinent information in its center.  Around the outside of the ticket there will be squares.  When a child comes to your space, we would like you to place a sticker in one of those squares.  This is important because the ticket, when completed, will be placed in a raffle drawing for a bicycle at the end of the day.  Please pick up the stickers at the Welcome tent (Withlacoochee Electric Co. tent) out in front of the center.

The schedule of events on Saturday is as follows:

10:00 – Official rally start, public arrives

10:30 – Karate demonstration by Bill Spivey of Spivey Karate:  How small children can defend themselves

11:00 – Karate demonstration by Bill Spivey Karate:  How older children can defend themselves

11:30 – Arion, the Trick Horse

Noon – Dedication ceremony of the Magnolia Memorial Park

12:30 – Arion, the Trick Horse

10:15, 11:15, 12:15 – Escorted Tours of the Trilby Playground

2:00 – Drawings for bikes, rally closes

Again, thank you for your participation.  If you have any questions, please call Kathy Riley at 352-583-4994 or Herb Green at 352-583-5936.

Sincerely,

Herb Green, President
